It's hard to imagine the fear a victim has to overcome to escape an abuser. In addition to the fear of physical harm, she deals with leaving her home and everything she's known for an uncertain future. Separating from an abuser is the most dangerous time, so they are usually forced to leave quickly, abandoning most or all of their personal belongings.

Once they escape, without the proper support, the transition can lead to poverty, homelessness, and victims struggling to support their family. That's why BRASS, Inc. is dedicated to providing shelter, advocating for victims' rights, and empowering Domestic Violence survivors who decide to take that brave step towards a future without violence.

It is a constant struggle to find the resources that we need to accommodate our clients. We have been blessed to receive donations from businesses, faith-based organizations, and private citizens in the past. And we ask that you please continue to give what you can to aid us in the fight against domestic abuse in our communities and rebuilding the lives of domestic violence survivors.
