The mission of Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. is to provide safety and support to victims of domestic violence, to protect the rights of individuals to be free from any form of abuse, and to increase public awareness of domestic violence in order to affect systems change.

Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. (BRASS, Inc.) is a regional domestic violence program accredited by the Kentucky Domestic Violence Association. Our primary service region covers the following counties: Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren counties. 

This site is designed to help anyone who is currently experiencing domestic violence, knows someone who is being abused, or looking for information about our agency's victims services. It includes our latest projects, job openings, publications, and ways that you can help us continue our fight against domestic violence. It also has links to other sites that may be able to provide help and support to those in need. BRASS, Inc. is a non-profit organization that, for over 28 years, has been dedicated to improving the lives of victims of domestic violence and their families.

We offer a secure emergency shelter, children's services, group and individual counseling, advocacy services, job placement assistance, housing assistance, food pantry, a financial literacy program, and asset building & free tax preparation opportunities.
